Long Le, MD

Long Le, M.D., is a board certified Family Medicine physician practicing in the state of Texas. Dr. Le graduated from the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine and finished his residency at Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program in Houston, Texas. Dr. Le is currently the medical director of emergency services at Victory Hospital in Houston’s medical center. He has certifications in ACLS, PALS and ATLS. Before joining EliteER he was a staff hospitalist at Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital and worked in many community as well as surgical hospital emergency rooms. His professional interests include emergency and hospital medicine. His personal interests include traveling, hiking and the outdoors. He is married with two young children.
Neeraj Shah, MD
Emergency Medicine Physician at Victory Medical Center –San Antonio
Dr. Shah is a board certified Internal Medicine physician who practices medicine in Austin and San Antonio. Dr. Shah attended Rice University for his undergraduate studies and completed Medical School at Baylor College of Medicine. In between medical school and residency he sought to expand his experiences by participating in charity work in Bombay, India through a Rotary scholarship program. He then went on to complete his Internal Medicine residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
Upon graduation Dr. Shah practiced with Kaiser Permanente in Oakland, California for a few years before returning to Texas where he took a faculty position as Assistant Professor of Medicine at UT Southwestern. Currently, he works as an Internist for Seton Medical Center in Austin. He also works with the Elite ER group at Victory Medical Center as an ER Physician.
His hobbies include live music, biking, and the outdoors.
Param Maewal, MD

Param Maewal, MD, is a board certified Internal Medicine physician who was born in Temple, Texas and grew up in Fort Worth, Texas.
He currently works with EliteER as Medical Director of the Emergency Department at Victory Medical Center San Antonio, Texas.
Param completed his Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, Texas. He then completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Texas Southwestern, which is affiliated with Parkland Memorial Hospital, and passed the board certification exam. He has published papers in the field of cardiology and presented abstracts at national meetings in the field of nuclear cardiology. He has also worked in numerous different clinical settings including: outpatient clinic, hospital, and small to large emergency rooms throughout Texas.
He now resides in Austin and enjoys reading, hiking, and traveling.

Raphael Emanuel, MD
Emergency Room Physician at SHCH
Dr. Emanuel was born and raised in Belfast, Ireland. Prior to coming to the United States, he attended medical school at the National University of Ireland in Dublin and completed his medical and surgical training in the Northern Ireland Health and Social Care Service. Dr. Emanuel joined the EliteER team in early 2011 and works at South Hampton Community Hospital, Dallas, TX.
Dr. Emanuel is ACLS, PALS, BLS, and ATLS certified.
